To cope best with sand, gravel or dirt roads it would be best to use large wheeled strollers (such as the Aptica XT).
Alternatively, for other strollers designed more for use in the city than on the beach, we recommend using them "backwards" for short paths to make it easier to move around. After use on the gravel, sand or dirt paths, it is advisable to clean the product with fresh water to remove sand and salt from the chassis and components.
In particular, be sure to remove sand (or dust) from the wheel assembly. Finally, dry metal parts (e.g. screws, rivets, etc.) thoroughly to prevent rusting.
